Terms of use

Who provides Privafolio
Privafolio is provided by Brandrip MB, a company registered in Lithuania (“we”). You can reach us at hello@privafolio.com. These terms apply when you download or use the app. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; these terms add to it, and where they differ for the points below, these terms apply.
What the app does
Privafolio is a read-only tracker for one Interactive Brokers account. It downloads your statements through the Flex Web Service with the read-only token you create; that token can only read reports, and the app never places trades or moves money. Privafolio is an independent app, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Interactive Brokers, whose own terms continue to govern your brokerage account.
Not advice
Nothing in the app is investment, tax, legal or financial advice. The app shows what you own, what it cost and how your holdings compare with targets you set yourself; it never tells you what to buy or sell. Every investment decision is yours.
Tax summaries
Tax summaries are prepared from your Interactive Brokers data and official exchange rates, following the rules the app describes next to them. They can be incomplete or wrong: data may be missing, rules change, and some rules are open to interpretation, as the summary’s notes say. Check every figure before you file, with your tax authority or an adviser if you are unsure. You are responsible for your tax returns.
Figures and their sources
Figures come from your Interactive Brokers statements, which are end-of-day, and from the European Central Bank and the National Bank of Poland for tax exchange rates. They may be late, missing or wrong at the source. The app shows a figure as n/a when it can’t work it out, but it can’t guarantee that every figure is complete or correct.
Subscription
You can explore the app with sample data for free. Your own portfolio needs a subscription: a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, then monthly or yearly at the price shown in the App Store, VAT included. Apple takes the payment, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.
Your part
Keep your iPhone and your Flex token safe, and don’t share the token. You can revoke it in Interactive Brokers at any time. Use the app only for your own accounts and only lawfully.
Your data
Your data stays on your iPhone and is never sent to us; the privacy policy explains what the app connects to. Files you export are yours to keep or share. Disconnecting in the app, or deleting it, removes the data from the phone.
Changes and availability
We may improve, change or remove features. The app depends on services we don’t control, such as Interactive Brokers’ Flex Web Service, so we can’t promise it will always be available or work without interruption.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from investment or tax decisions, from errors or gaps in data or calculations, or from the app being unavailable, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence.
Your rights as a consumer
If you use the app as a consumer, you keep every right the law of the country you live in gives you, including your rights if the app doesn’t work as described. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer living in another country, the mandatory consumer protections of that country still apply, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they apply. If you don’t agree, you can cancel your subscription.
